After reading lots of bad reviews from big car rental companies and how they scam people (especially google reviews from Avis), we decided to look for smaller local company, and it was the best choice ever. Our whole trip was an amazing experience which started with renting a car here. Not only it was much cheaper than any other company, we didn't even have to pay a deposit. We were a bit skeptical because of lack of reviews and it all almost sounded too good to be true, but it was real. The communication was great and straightforward. We picked up the car at Podgorica airport. It took couple of minutes and signing one paper and we were sitting in the car on our way for the road trip through Montenegro. We hired Skoda Fabia. The car looked like brand new, it was very clean and it drove really well. Half way through our trip I wanted to add my girlfriend as an additional driver, so I just messaged them on WhatsApp, wrote her details on the contract and it was done, for free. Returning the car was as easy as picking it up, also took only couple of minutes. There are no hidden fees and no lying, just honest people doing a great job. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone who travels to Montenegro.

Car was pretty good. It had enough power uphills and it was nice to break engine on downhills. We got clean and washed car according to standards. it had some scraches but it is normal for few years cars. Rental service was nice and fast.

In short, everything was super) At the time of filling out the application, the closest time to submit was in 2.5 hours. In the comments we asked earlier if possible, in the end, the manager contacted us, which is important in our language. And brought the car in an hour and a half. Car was in perfect condition, with not a little mileage, everything was shiny and there was not a single chip or scratch, it was obvious that they watch out. As for the quality of the car, too, there were no questions, despite the considerable dimensions and agility the fuel consumption was minimal. (As a result, we left more than an extra half tank) On the return, too, everything was clear, met us at the airport in Podgorica just in time, when we entered the parking we were already waiting for people. Quickly took a look at the car and said goodbye. In general, all super 10/10

The entire booking process, from the registration of the car on the site to the return at the airport, was as simple and convenient as possible. During the registration process it was possible to choose all the options concerning insurance, travel outside Montenegro or the need to provide additional components (booster, navigator, etc.). In addition, the employees of the company Milan and Goran were online to answer all related questions. Regarding the time of the car, Goran warned us in advance that there was traffic and there would be a slight delay. He then picked us up and drove us to the transfer location. We chose Skoda Fabia 1.1 gasoline, automatic, 110 hp, 2019 (if I remember correctly (smiley)). Compact, economical and very frisky car for maneuvering on mountain roads and serpentines. We went to Bosnia and Herzegovina and drove around the Kotor serpentine and Lovcen Park for another day. Everything was excellent. We chose the car based on the reviews among other things, but I'm sure they have a great selection of other cars as well). We had an early flight and by arrangement, we just left the car in the airport parking intact.) To summarize the above, I can say that LocalCarHires excellent service, which fully met our expectations, as well as Montenegro in general with its beautiful nature and kind people. We will definitely be back!!!

Quite well. On the 2nd day the battery went flat and I couldnt start the car but I called the owner and within 30 minutes he came and replaced it with a new one. Besides, he agreed to my request to return the car one hour later for free, so I was vety happy. There was however one thing I didnt like. It turned out that the car doesnt have SCDW insurance although I paid for it. The owner said there must be incorrect information on the website. Otherwise I was happy with the car.
